Our trucks usually carry couches, dressers and a whole lot of boxes. This fall, one of them is getting filled with something better: Thanksgiving dinners for families right here in Bucks County.
It is called Fill the Truck for Bucks County, and our goal is 500 Thanksgiving meals.
A lot of our neighbors are stretched thin come November. We spend every day inside people’s homes across Bucks and Montgomery County, and this is our way of giving something back to the community that keeps us busy all year. We would love for you to be part of it.
What counts as a meal
Every one of these counts as one meal toward our 500:
- A meal bag (a bag of Thanksgiving staples)
- A frozen turkey
- A grocery gift card
Canned goods and boxed sides help too. Here is what we need most:
- Canned goods: vegetables, yams, cranberry sauce, gravy
- Boxed stuffing: any brand, any flavor
- Instant mashed potatoes: a Thanksgiving table staple
- Grocery gift cards
A few quick rules: unopened, in-date food only. No glass and nothing homemade. Please bring frozen turkeys to our warehouse, not to a drop box.

Who it helps
Every donation stays local and goes to local Bucks County families in need. Our crew handles the truck and delivers everything we collect.
Thank you to our sponsor
A big thank you to Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws in Harleysville for being our first sponsor and drop-off location. Local businesses like this are what make a drive like this work, and we are so grateful to have them on board.
Local businesses: sponsor or host a drop box
We are looking for more local businesses, offices, schools and churches to join in. Here is how it works:
- Host a drop box. We bring the box and a sign, and we pick up whenever it gets full.
- Get listed. We list you as a drop-off location and a sponsor everywhere we promote the drive, including our flyers.
- Sponsor meals. Prefer not to host a box? You can sponsor meals instead.
It is an easy way to get your team and your customers involved, and it puts your name next to something good for the community. To sign up, call 215-622-8140 and we will take care of the rest.
Help us spread the word
Not able to donate right now? Sharing helps just as much. Tag a friend, share this post with your neighborhood group, or post a photo of your drop off with #FillTheTruckBucks. Every share gets us closer to a full truck.
