Some movers say “white glove” and mean they’ll bring the box inside. At Better Choice Moving, it means your home is protected, every piece is padded or crated for what it is, and everything is placed exactly where you want it. Nothing is curb-dropped, and nothing is left in the garage for you to deal with later. It’s also how our white glove movers handle antiques, artwork, heirlooms and high-value furniture across Bucks, Montgomery, Chester and Lehigh counties. Call 215-622-8140.

What white-glove includes

  • Full home protection. Floor runners, door-jamb guards, banister and railing padding, and protection for tight corners and stair landings, all laid down before the first piece moves.
  • Item-by-item wrapping. Fine furniture gets moving pads and extra protection for finished surfaces. Glass tops, marble and stone are also wrapped and moved on edge as needed.
  • Crating and custom padding for artwork, mirrors, sculptures and fragile antiques.
  • Careful disassembly and reassembly of beds, armoires, dining tables and anything else that needs to come apart before it can move safely. See furniture assembly.
  • Room-by-room placement. We set every piece where it belongs, not “close enough.” Mirror and artwork hanging can also be arranged on request.
  • Debris removal. We take the packing material with us so you’re not left with a house full of cardboard.
  • Our guarantee: Zero stress, zero damage to your home or possessions with trained movers, and zero hidden pricing. Our uniformed crews also treat your home like a client’s home.

Homes that need white-glove

Southeastern Pennsylvania is full of homes that punish a careless mover:

  • Main Line stone homes in Bryn Mawr, Gladwyne, Wayne, Berwyn and Malvern, with plaster walls, original woodwork and steep staircases
  • Central Bucks farmhouses in Solebury, Buckingham and New Hope, with low door frames and narrow, winding stairs
  • Historic borough homes in Doylestown, West Chester and Allentown’s West End
  • Brand-new construction with fresh floors and paint that nobody wants scratched in week one

Items we handle with extra care

  • Antiques and family heirlooms, including grandfather clocks, china cabinets and armoires
  • Framed art, canvases and large mirrors
  • Chandeliers and fragile light fixtures, once an electrician has taken them down
  • Marble, glass and stone tabletops
  • High-end upholstered and designer furniture
  • Pianos and safes, handled by our oversized-item crew

White-glove for designers and trade

Interior designers and home stagers also use our designer RWI service to receive, inspect, store and install furniture with the same white-glove standard. If you’re furnishing a client’s home, we can be your install crew.

Pair it with other services

White-glove also pairs naturally with full-service packing, move-and-store in vault storage at our Quakertown warehouse, and long-distance moves where careful loading matters even more.

Frequently asked questions

What’s the difference between white-glove and a standard move?

Every move with us includes home protection and fully wrapped furniture. In addition, white-glove adds custom padding and crating for fragile and high-value pieces, extra time for careful handling, precise room-by-room placement and debris removal.

Do you crate artwork and mirrors?

Yes. Artwork, large mirrors and fragile antiques can be custom padded or crated before the move.

Can I add white-glove to just a few items?

Yes. Many customers book a standard residential move, then add white-glove handling for a few heirlooms, art pieces or a piano.

Do you hang artwork and mirrors?

We can also arrange mirror and artwork hanging as part of placement. Mention it when you call 215-622-8140 so we plan the time.

Do you offer white-glove for long-distance moves?

Yes. White-glove handling is also available on long-distance and interstate moves, where careful packing and loading matter even more.
