Choose how much help you want

Full packing. Our crew packs your entire home, usually the day before your move or the morning of, depending on size. Every box is packed properly, sealed and labeled by room so unloading goes fast and you can find the coffee maker on day one.

Partial packing. You pack the easy stuff, like books, linens and clothes, and we handle the hard stuff: kitchens, glassware, china, lamps, art, mirrors and anything fragile. This is the most popular option for families who want to save money without risking their most breakable things.

Fragile-only and specialty packing. Just need a few items done right? If so, we pack heirlooms, framed art, mirrors and electronics on their own, with custom padding or crating where it makes sense. See white-glove moving.

Unpacking. At the new home, we can also unpack boxes, put items on counters and shelves, and take the empty boxes and paper away with us.

How our packing services work

Right box, right weight. Heavy items go in small boxes and light items in large ones, so boxes don’t crush or burst.
Dishes and glassware are packed with plenty of paper and cushioning, while plates are stood on edge.
Lamps, shades and electronics are packed on their own rather than thrown in with other things.
Wardrobe boxes also keep hanging clothes on the hanger.
Clear room labels on every box, plus “fragile” and “this side up” where it counts.
Furniture is wrapped and padded separately. Packing covers contents; every piece of furniture gets its own padding on moving day.

When packing services make the most sense

Long-distance moves. A box that survives a ten-minute drive may not survive a day on the highway. See long-distance moving.
Move-and-store. Items going into vault storage at our Quakertown warehouse also need to be packed to sit safely for weeks or months. See moving and storage.
Seniors and busy families. If packing a lifetime of belongings is too much, our senior moving team takes it slow and respectful.
Tight timelines. When the closing date moves up or a job starts sooner than expected, our packers can get a whole house ready fast.
Offices. We also pack files, equipment and break rooms for commercial moves.

Packing tips if you’re doing some yourself

Start with rooms you use least: guest rooms, basements and off-season closets.
Keep boxes under about 50 pounds so they’re safe to carry.
Pack an “open first” box for each person with medications, chargers, toiletries, a change of clothes and important papers.
Also keep valuables like jewelry, cash and documents with you, not on the truck.
Leave the kitchen and fragile items to us if you’re unsure. That’s what partial packing is for.

Do you supply boxes and materials?

Yes. We can also supply the boxes, paper, tape and specialty cartons your packing job needs. Ask about materials when you get your estimate.

When do the packers come?

For most homes, packing happens the day before the move or the morning of. Larger homes may need more time, so we’ll schedule it in your estimate.

Will you pack my kitchen if I pack the rest?

Yes. Partial packing for the kitchen and fragile items is one of our most popular options.

Do you unpack too?

Yes. We can unpack at the new home, put items away where you want them, and then remove the empty boxes and paper.
