Chester County Movers Who Respect Old Stone and New Floors
Careful Chester County movers for West Chester, Malvern, Phoenixville and Exton. Residential moves, packing and storage.
Chester County has some of the most beautiful homes in Pennsylvania, and some of the hardest to move. Two-hundred-year-old fieldstone farmhouses sit a mile from brand-new townhome communities, and a historic borough rowhome can be next door to a college rental. Better Choice Moving is a family-run team of Chester County movers who plan each move around the house itself. We protect the floors and doorways, wrap and pad every piece, and place furniture where you want it. Call 215-622-8140 for a free estimate.

Moving in Chester County, town by town
West Chester. The borough’s brick rowhomes and Victorian twins around Gay and High streets come with narrow stairs, tight turns and permit parking, so we sort out where the truck will stand before moving day. West Chester University brings a steady stream of student and young-professional moves, mostly apartments and shared houses, and those need fast, careful crews. See apartment movers.
The western Main Line. Paoli, Malvern, Berwyn, Devon and the Chester County side of Wayne (Tredyffrin and Easttown) are full of older stone and shingle homes with mature trees, long driveways and staircases that were never built for a king-size box spring. These are the homes our white-glove moving service was built for: padded banisters and door frames, crated art and mirrors, and placement room by room.
Phoenixville. Victorian twins near Bridge Street sit alongside newer apartments and townhomes along the river. Moves here often mix a walk-up with a modern building that wants a certificate of insurance and a booked elevator.
Exton, Downingtown, Lionville and Chester Springs. This is Chester County’s growth corridor along Route 100, Route 113 and the Turnpike. Newer single-family homes and townhome communities usually mean HOA move-in rules, fresh paint and new floors that we protect with runners and corner guards from the first box to the last.
Southern Chester County. In Kennett Square, Chadds Ford, Unionville, Avondale and toward Oxford, farmhouses and country properties sit on long lanes with soft shoulders and low-hanging trees. We check access ahead of time so the right size truck shows up.
Coatesville and the western townships. Older borough homes and newer subdivisions in Caln, Valley and Sadsbury round out the county, and we serve them too.
When Chester County moves need more than a truck
- Closing gaps. If your sale closes before your purchase, our moving and storage service holds your household in vaults at our Quakertown warehouse until you’re ready.
- Downsizing from the family home. Many Chester County moves are parents leaving a longtime house for a smaller home or a senior community. Our senior moving team works at your pace and pairs with junk removal for what you’re not keeping.
- Heavy and awkward pieces. Pianos, gun safes and stone-top tables in older homes call for our oversized-item crew.
- Packing. Whether it’s full-house packing or just the kitchen and the china, our packing services keep fragile things safe.
- Leaving the state. Many Chester County families relocate with work. Our long-distance movers are licensed for interstate moves.

Frequently asked questions
Do you really serve Chester County from Quakertown?
Yes. We serve all of Chester County, from West Chester and the Main Line to Phoenixville, Exton and Kennett Square. We schedule arrival times around Route 202 and Route 30 traffic so your crew shows up when we said it would.
Can you help with a West Chester University move?
Yes. We move students and young professionals into and out of apartments and shared houses around West Chester. Small moves, tight stairs and quick turnarounds are routine for us.
How do you protect an older stone home?
We lay floor runners, pad door jambs and banisters, and wrap every piece before it’s carried. For antiques, art and mirrors, our white-glove service adds custom padding, crating and careful placement.
We bought new construction in Exton. Anything we should know?
Check your HOA’s move-in rules for hours and truck parking, and let us know when you book. We protect new floors and walls throughout the move.
Do you offer storage for Chester County moves?
Yes. Our move-and-store service holds your belongings in vault storage at our Quakertown warehouse and delivers when you’re ready.
