Bucks County Movers for Every Kind of Home, from Quakertown to Yardley
Family-run Bucks County movers for Doylestown, Newtown, Quakertown and Yardley. Homes protected, furniture wrapped.
Better Choice Moving is a family-run team of Bucks County movers who know the county from the inside. Our headquarters and vault storage warehouse sit at 420 Station Rd in Quakertown, so most of our Bucks County moves start or end a short drive away. We move families, not freight: every home gets floor and door protection, every piece of furniture is wrapped and padded, and nothing gets dropped at the curb. Call 215-622-8140 for a free estimate.

Upper, Central and Lower Bucks are three different moves
Anyone who has moved a household here knows Bucks isn’t one place.
Upper Bucks (Quakertown, Perkasie, Sellersville, Richland and Milford townships) mixes old borough twins with farmhouses on long lanes and newer subdivisions off Route 309. Long gravel driveways and soft shoulders decide where a box truck can park, so we look at access before moving day, not on it.
Central Bucks (Doylestown, Chalfont, Warrington, New Britain, Buckingham, Solebury and New Hope) is where you find the county’s oldest homes. Stone farmhouses with narrow winding staircases, low door frames and deep window wells are common in Buckingham and Solebury. In Doylestown Borough, the streets around State and Main are tight and parking is metered, and New Hope’s Main Street gets packed with visitors on weekends. Those moves need a plan for where the truck goes and how long it can stay.
Lower Bucks (Levittown, Bristol, Bensalem, Langhorne, Fairless Hills, Yardley and Morrisville) means post-war Levitt ranches and Capes with compact rooms, Bristol Borough twins and rowhomes, and townhome communities with HOA rules about move-in hours and where trucks can stand. It also means I-95 and Route 1 traffic, which we plan around when we set arrival times.
What Bucks County moves usually need
- Older homes and antiques. Stone walls, plaster and original woodwork don’t forgive a bumped dresser. Our white-glove moving service covers custom padding, crating for fragile pieces, and careful placement in the right room.
- New construction. Builders in Warrington, Doylestown Township and Upper Bucks hand over homes with brand-new floors and fresh paint. We protect both, and we follow HOA move-in rules.
- Closing-date gaps. Bucks inventory moves fast, and closing dates rarely line up. Our move-and-store service loads your home once, holds it in vault storage at our Quakertown warehouse, and delivers when your new place is ready.
- Moves across the river. Yardley, Morrisville and New Hope sit across the Delaware from New Jersey. A move from Bucks into New Jersey crosses a state line, which makes it interstate. We hold USDOT 4168676 and MC-1671186, so we handle those moves legally and with the right paperwork. See long-distance moving.
- Downsizing. Many Bucks families are moving a parent out of a longtime home into a smaller place or a senior community. Our senior moving crews take it slow and pair the move with junk removal for what doesn’t make the trip.
- College moves. Students at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown and Bucks County Community College in Newtown often need small apartment moves at the start and end of the semester. See apartment movers.

Frequently asked questions
Do you serve all of Bucks County?
Yes. We move households across Upper, Central and Lower Bucks, from Quakertown and Perkasie to Doylestown, Newtown, Yardley, Levittown and Bensalem. Our headquarters and storage warehouse are in Quakertown, so most of the county is a short drive away.
Where is your storage facility?
Our warehouse is at 420 Station Rd in Quakertown. We use it for move-and-store jobs, short- and longer-term household storage in vaults, and designer receiving.
Can you move us from Bucks County to New Jersey?
Yes. A move from Yardley, Morrisville, New Hope or anywhere in Bucks into New Jersey is an interstate move. We are licensed for interstate moves under USDOT 4168676 and MC-1671186, and we explain your valuation options before you book.
We’re buying an older stone home. How do you protect it?
We lay floor runners, pad door frames and banisters, and wrap every piece of furniture before it leaves the room. For antiques, art or very heavy pieces, our white-glove service adds custom padding, crating and placement.
